Last Year's Books

I'm not going to resolve to post more. It's hopeless, and nobody (except maybe David) reads it anyway.

Looking back at last year, I'm amazed at how many books I've read. I didn't get up to fifty, as I'd hoped, but 40 isn't bad. I think there might be some missing from this list so maybe it's more than 40.

About the ratings: It's hard for me to give a book less than three stars. It has to be really bad writing! And I don't usually finish (nor rate) books with really bad writing.

I think we just have to go ahead and accept that you and I have totally different reading tastes. All there is to it.

I shall be posting my 82 books read within a few days...

82! I thought you weren't reading books this year. I guess they're all women's nonfiction? Yep, I think we do have different tastes in books, especially since you don't appreciate the beauty of birds.

I gave Coraline four stars. I'll be reading Owen Meany real soon. I keep reading the first page, and then thinking of all the books I've got to read and review (I got them free as ARCs with the understanding that I'd review them, at least somewhere on the web). Since you already reviewed Owen Meany on BFGB, there's not much incentive to read it sooner rather than later.
